Sometimes I wonder if it´s possible to gauge the real impact this guys had/have on drumming and music in general. I´m such a fan girl for them... :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Agreed! The awe factor for me is the endurance over DECADES! The body of work...
like getting drafted by the New England Patriots and seeing Tom Brady. We play the
same game, but man, we are worlds apart. NAMM can be one love fest after another...
that guy walking quietly who played on a favorite LP 15 years ago you devoured.

One of THE nicest man I ever met was Jonathan Moffett. Humble to the core...sweet.
Just standing alone on the floor...dressed to kill in a suit...classy and acted like I was
the superstar. Impressive.

Bingo! There´s plenty of amazing drummers/musicians all over the world...
The thing that makes Gadd Gadd is that his footprint is on thousands of AMAZING-earth-shattering albums. Same for Vinnie, Weck, Jeff, JR, Omar, etc...
