Hanging in Philly with the in-laws for a few weeks. Got a killing new bubinga stave snare and have a pretty cool 'compact' kit on loan from my brother in laws company, Philly Drum Co. Pretty fun stuff!!

A few brief samples can be found here (how do I embed this shit again? lol):

Chris Perra, I love that groove you play on the bell of the crash and hihat, very cool! And Alex, amazing hands, very nice way of teaching, and lovely kit sound.

A tasty little thing I was playing around with last year. It's five strokes, FRRLL over 6/8.

And a paradiddle-diddle video with and without rimshots. I made it for some guys on the roland v drum forum, even though I'm playing real drums. It's a bit rough but some ideas I put down. :)

No drums no life, know drums know life...

Not sure what's worse: Practicing and hearing all your flaws, or practicing stuff you USED TO BE ABLE TO PLAY and hearing all your flaws.

Anywho, practicing some Double bass these days.
