It’s gonna get pretty ugly the next 12 months. Hopefully people will keep there distance from others and hunker down for weeks at a time. Most people will get the virus. No one is immune to it. After you recover from it you will be. In the mean time science will work on a vaccine. Flatten the curve of the virus spread so we all don’t get it at once. Stem the disease out. Once we get the vaccine and people have recovered we will be able to come out of hibernation. How the economy recovers is another scary task

Not playing MOD here...but how bout if we disagree with someone's
CV thoughts, feelings or experience you PM them instead of repeated posts?
Just asking? Sure to get a lot of reactions as this continues and this can
be a cathartic thread for many locked up inside

Good news? Let's hope chloroquine really works!!!

CA Gov...state wide Stay at Home order tonight! Need to read up to what that
really means.

I agree w/Steve's concerns...HOW people react. You can only shack up people for so
long before the weakest link in that home/apt breaks. For those who are 'action'
folks, sitting at home is painful...for those who love to read, peace of mind.

Lang makes good points...like those in Anonymous groups who go to stay sober.
This is devastating to them! Going to a group for some is life & death...life
was tough enough to stay sober, add out of work, no money, loss of home...YIKES!
I could a very orderly format of sitting 6-8 ft from ea other, no touching, limit
to no more than 10-15 people...extend meetings all day long if needed...
no food or drinks, wipe chairs ea meeting...obviously, don't show up if any type
of cold or illness...this would make a huge impact in that community.

Hopefully people will keep there distance from others and hunker down for weeks at a time.
For those whacked out pastors who say trust God and come to church, then offer a healthy dose
of shame on top of it for those who don't...as a Christian, they are what fuels Bill Maher lol
...and he is correct when it comes to this!

Friend's wife in CO exclusively works w/CV-19 patients as a nurse...they have to sit 6ft from
ea other at home, sleep in different rooms, etc... Only affection is touching fingers
for a sec or two

I was so moved when 10,000 retired health professionals and medical students
signed in to the workforce of the Danish national health services within 3 days
after Denmark was 'shut down'.

It really is all about how we treat each other, now more than ever. My own quarantine
was lifted last night, but I only venture out to buy groceries. I've told all my friends who
are professional musicians to get a Patreon Page so their fans can support them in these strange times.

China, where the deadly pathogen first emerged in December,
recommended the decades-old malaria drug chloroquine to treat infected
patients in guidelines issued in February after seeing encouraging results
in clinical trials. But within days, it cautioned doctors and health officials
about the drug’s lethal side effects and rolled back its usage.

I know, this affects everybody. I didn’t mean to imply that the rest of us are all in a position to do so.

I feel incredibly lucky to be living where I am and to do what I do. I can work from home, our health care system is decent and we have universal health care. On top of that, the government has approved care packages for Danish business in order for them to send home workers with near-full pay for the next couple of months.

This will likely take much longer and will undoubtably affect all people on this earth.

This is our world war.

Stay safe, everyone <3

Well I just got that dreaded email...close friend's wife might have been
exposed...she is a nurse so they sent her home under quarantine. He
has serious underlying issues...just got very real...and I fear many of
us will start to experience the same...I hope not! Be wise...

world war! Not even close. staying a good distance away from people for 3 months so the pathogen virus can't spread. Simple. Execution of pulling that off is pretty difficult. one person can set a chain reaction of 60,000 infected. It's that contagious. This is a nightmare not world war. Once we all get symbiotic with this virus things will get better. We all have a relationship with bacteria and viruses.
