Wowzers! Having played and heard Killer Joe eleven-ty bazillion times, I wasn't sure I was going to like this clip. But the arrangement was awesome! Lots of really cool lines and backgrounds, and the feel changes were nice as well. Nice playing by Gavin almost goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. Like!

nice arrangement on the tune. where did the music come from? drums were mixed just right. great playing gavin.

That was great! I was wondering who did the arranging as well as if the track was available as a play-along....but by the time I finished watching I thought to myself- eh, forget it...maybe in another lifetime...LOL

He also did "Quite Firm" a track I played at the MD Fest a couple of years ago.

i knew it was him, just based off hearing quite firm. great stuff and great playing!

Laurence Cottle is also the bass player on those recent George B clips that have been posted, check him out here
