The playing. The pants. The glasses. Righteous stuff!

Anyone know what DVD the show is off of.. if it is?

Nice, but that song on "Soul Cages Tours" Video Tape with the begining on the guitar, just kills me !!!

They play here like the studio version.

This show was Sting's 40th Birthday Concert at the Hollywood Bowl and I believe it first aired on the Disney Channel, of all stations. Like all of the wonderful performances from the 90s with Vinnie drumming, this show has never been formally put out as a legitimate DVD release. But you can undoubtedly find the entire show from various bootlegs floating around out there.

Yeah, to my chagrin none of the early 90s Sting stuff is on DVD. It's all still sold on VHS format, which just kills me. They went back and put BOTN on DVD. Why not Soul Cages and TST? Because they were documentaries?

And other videos on the related, this concert has been my Bible as much than "Secrets" and Buddy Rich Memorial, enjoy.

I got lucky a few years ago and found 'Unplugged' on DVD at Best Buy. It was an import from Portugal.

A better dub of Jeremiah Blues, which is just as good as it gets.

Yes. Right after my dad gave me the Zildjian Day 1984 tape, I started to look for a concert with Vinnie, this was the first one I bought, The Soul Cages VHS. I've probably watched this 1000 times, it is too good.

I think this my fav era of VC because this is when I discovered him. On the surface, it's simple, but profound. but once you try to play like this, you realize the superb skill that's invovled in pulling it off without overdoing it.

I'll have to look for it, but I thought there was a blurb in Sting's autobiography about this show...
