This solo is one of the finest I've seen him play, punchy, technical and aggressive with tons of Wecklisms.

Just listened to Dave's online video Sat...didn't care for his bass drum
tone...not enough THUD for me...too much bounce. His opening solo
however was fabulous...man has FLOW for days on end...so relaxed!
I think what i dig about Dave the MOST is his attitude and maturity...
he isn't "silly"--doesnt need to make "jokes" but talks to me as an adult.
He's very 'sober-minded' and so professional always...just dig this...Steve H
has a lot of this in his videos...he talks at a high level and doesn't have this
need to screw around and be a "personality"...deep level of confidence and
with Dave, he is all confidence for me. Great cat...

Big WOW on this tune...what groove!

I wanted him to talk about some of those Oz Noy vamps with the tricky figures - they seem really difficult to play over.
Always a thrill to get mentioned by your drum hero.

WOW Dave's kit sound so GOOOOD here...he really gets his Live feeds
at a high level all-around (cam angles, etc). His stick control is off the
charts (vamping on the last Chick tune)...soooo fluid and loose and clean!!
