Saw the Anvil documentary on Netflix last night. Outstanding. At first I almost thought Spinal Tap, but I was wrong. Watch it.

I recommend Chuck Berry's Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll with Steve Jordan.

It's almost complete on YT so have fun. Especially funny when Keith Richards is getting his ass kicked by CB.

Yeah...saw Anvil as well. Hit both heart & mind. A bit sad as well. When do you let the dream go? This music does not fare well for those past 25...almost like perpetual adolescence. Yet, the lead singer loved his family, worked hard on his day job...lots of respect.

I've always been a fan of Daniel Lanois, just read his outstanding book, and just received his Here Is What Is documentary from Netflix. Can't wait to watch it! Anybody seen it?

if you can find Everyone Stares on dvd it would be worth it vs youtube or Netflix. The commentary with Stewart and Andy is PRICELESS. I mean the whole movie is fantastic, the fact he had the forsight to start recording...wow. But again the commentary is stellar.

"Back and Forth", the Foo Fighters one, is a favorite of mine. I've watched it probably about a half dozen times, and it's absolutely fantastic. Ditto on Anvil, Buena Vista Social Club, and so many of the others already posted about.

"Standing In The Shadows of Motown" is another one that's completely great.
