This is a good friend/former teacher of mine, Miles Vandiver. He's from St. Louis and teaches at a few universities in town, as well as playing pretty much all the high-profile stuff that comes through. This is a video from his rock band, Dropkick The Robot, which showcases a nice solo at around the 3 minute mark. Enjoy!

Yeah, that was fun. The first half reminded me of Radiohead. The drum solo was nice-- it was clean and made sense. I also dug the drum sound

You should hear his dad, Larry Vandiver. And he sings his butt off too.
