I love the work these people are doing, the interface is lots of fun. Portnoy's interview was very cool, I think Mike is a great guy and it shines through. Check it out.

Wow, again...
All the media contents (video, text, links, pdf...) are very attractive.
This is the magazine of the 21th century.

Thanks for the link Manu, I like this iDrum Magazine a lot. It must be a shit load of work to put this together. How are they able to survive without subscriptions? Company ads only?

I might be way off mark here, but I don't get it. This site/magazine is very well done with alot of great content...... but why is it in the format of a magazine?????? i'm assuming that is it's primary form of distribution is online, so what is the point of making it's dimensions that of a magazine if it's intended audience is one of an online consumer? please explain...

Perhaps to appeal to folks already existing familiarity with the magazine format. It's just feels comfortable browsing in that way because folks have done it so much in the past.
I like it, it just loads slow.

Advertisers. They get big glossy pictures to pitch their wares, which causes people to stop and look at their ads. I'm in publishing and web publishing, and solving the problem of getting people to actually look at stuff without hijacking the page is one that's yet to be resolved. It's retro, but it's also an interesting solution. I'd be curious if this works on an iPad and how it looks.
