I'm coming around to liking his playing more and more. His hands are as smooth as any I've ever seen. Really something wonderful to behold. he wasn't forcing stuff and hitting super hard.
Personally, I think he should have gotten the DT gig, he grooves pretty nicely. Everything felt pretty good.
Not sure about the sort of static nature of his music, admittedly it's not the Beatles, but all in all a very inspiring dude.

Are you sure...??
Isn´t this Ringo playing along to a Beatles track ?
Let me get closer to my screen...mmmmm
Damn !!
Virgil caught me plenty...
That cap and that classic drum finish confused me !!

Maybe it was more like Wings!
Virg came out, was playing the vision kit you see.
Which had a pretty damn killer sound, snare was good, Virg commented on it.
He came out, soloed, went into Planet X and his stuff, then another long solo.
I'm not sure what it is about the orchestration of his solos, but I'm not hearing a composition...and the meter seems to not change, or he is tied to the meter...
Questions, with explanations of bd stuff and coordination, nothing too in depth.
He played some simple grooves and this is what I noticed, they sounded good...then into the modulations and half time stuff with double bass. I like the way he makes simple grooves sound.
