Anyone using 10, 12, 16?

i used 10/12/14 for years and when I ordered my newer Gretsch kit, I specifically ordered the 10/12/16. I really missed the wide range of that configuration. I'm still tweaking it, but it's working out quite well.

Today 10, 12 and 14" seem to be the most common tom sizes...
Is anyone using anything else? There´s a nice Pearl Masters kit with 10, 12 and 16" I´ll try to test next week...
I wonder how hard it could be to have them to sound cohesive (especially the 12 and the 16)

What´s your take on tom sizes these days?

I use 13, 16! 12 to 16 is a bit of a jump.

My recording customs were 10, 12 15. There was no 15 with the PHX so I went 10, 12 16.
I like the low tom to be LOWWWWWWW.....

Same here Steve, when I ordered the PHX from YAMAHA I wanted a 15" floor tom but wasn't available on the spec sheet.

10 12 14 and 16 toms and have tuned a lot lower than I would any other kit.

Love the PHX.
