I bought a DVD of that show recently. Love it. I wish it was longer. That 18" bass drum sounds good.

I think it was released on laser disc in Japan, and people have converted it and re-sold it on DVD (illegally). I wish Corea would release it himself, but he probably doesn't own the original footage (for whatever reason).

Can't decide (not that one has to) which version I like better... Weckl's got it going on in this context too, I think.

I remember there being some boots of the other performances for this.

There are 2 separate videos from this line-up.
One, seen in the youtube clip, was broadcast on the Japanese TV station WOWOW (that info scrolls at the end of the credits on the complete performance). This version is widely circulated in the trading community as well copious bootlegs from resellers. I cant find a date but its referred to as "Tokyo 1992." It may have been officially released in Japan, but I am not sure as I have not seen a perfect master qaulity version. Also, things that are officially released generally do not circulate amongst the traders as much. The best I've seen is good, but still a generation or 2 away from being a master.
There is another version of the Vinnie, Chick, John trio filmed at the same venue, Blue Note Tokyo, probably a different night of the same engagement. Its not a broadcast type filming but instead is from a small video camera on a table to the left of Vinnie and the band. Its dated June 22, 1992
