Kurtis-Siri says,"I hear the Sabian Crossover ride in your future."
John-The snare is a 5x14 Eames drum with a coated Ambassador, die-cast hoops and no muffling, except for the occasional rolled up piece of duct tape toward the rim. It's fairly tight but I've been tuning a little looser. Snare bottom is cranked in the snare bed area. I've also got the snares backed off to where I get a lil more spread. I've got a matching Eames kit in all the same sizes that combined with Vintage Emps is as warm as it gets. The drums on these clips are Pearl Masters Studio with single ply coated Aquarians on them tuned up a little higher than normal. They sound great, even at a higher tuning, when I record to Logic.
