Chick Corea is doing a 70th B-day series of shows November at the Blue Note - shades of his 60th. Check out the schedule, makes me wish I live in New York. Lenny, Brian, and Dave in the house, along with Clarke, Peacock, and Pattituci, and other guys like Burton, McLaughlin, and Garrett. Whoever they are....

P.S. Should have called out the Eddie and Jack rhythm section, too.

There are a lot of interesting shows on the schedule. The Chick & Herbie and Chick & Marcus Roberts duos look nice, as does the "From Miles" band, Chick and Gary Burton w/ string quartet, and the flamenco sets. And of course, RTF, 5PB, and EB. Wish I could see them all...
