I pretty much always enjoyed his playing (w/TT and elsewhere). The tracks that emerged years
ago from Ronnie Scott's of him with The Zawinul Syndicate is stellar stuff. Almost as good as TZS with
Paco Sery.

^^ That's funny!

I guess everybody was laughing his / her ass out loud the first time you saw KC live. His fills were unexpected and out and quite often he didn't catch the one. But one Tribal Tech tour later he was a completely different drummer. Kirk is pretty badass. If you are not familiar with KC listen to TT's Face First, Reality Check and Thick. I know TT is working on a new album and I can't wait to hear it.

The guy can also sing the crap out of anybody. Saw him twice with Scott Henderson Trio and it was outlandish, yet so bluesy.

there's something great about Kirk. He feels like a local guy that hit it bigtime IMO. Great drummer
