Schulman is rock solid. I sat through a Cher show on TV because he was such a killer player. Everything was perfect.

LOL...was that on the ship where she came out in full skank mode? Man, what happened to Mark? He was the next tier
outside the Round Table 7 wasn't he? This was back in late 80's no?

No, it was a theater or arena show, I remember lots of headresses and purple lights. That believe in love song, the annoying one, was her hit du jour. Schulman had everything nailed down.

Well, I'm pretty sure it was him. I did feel a little nauseous.

He's giving a speech at a BICSI conference in Sept. BICSI develops communication standards.

He's prolly pulling in a nice check for that.

Back to Omar!

One of the best John Scofield albums- STILL WARM (drum solos on most of the tracks) One of the best drum sounds recorded.
BTW: the CD sounds so much better than these YouTube audio files.

Omar has it all, especially in dynamics, touch, groove, soloing and tone (in any order). He’s a master from day one.

Great selections Rodge...each one was different, creative, perfect for each song.
My half time music was not on TV but with Omar!
