My new instrumental fusion project :)

After many years of longing for such thing I finally became friends with a guitarrist and we're doing some original fusion tunes. It's not really jazz fusion, more like a Steve Vai instrumental thing, but I am enjoying it. We're just playing trying to get some tunes together to go play live. No hurries, no pressure, just get together when we can and want . It's coming out rather nicely and I am enjoying it.

Here I leave you with preliminary version one of the tunes, home recorded, and a little vid of a rehearsal (not great quality). For some reason I get lot's of linear grooves ideas from his music, something that commonly I never get inspired to do. Also check that intro in the rehearsal vid, I probably stole that from Weckl LOL

It's the first time I do something like this so I could use some advice. I'd like to record the material properly at a studio sometime soon.
