Hello no !!!
Just because her cymbal's sound sucks so much...

Otherwise she did a good job. :-)

Great drumming... Just needs a recording engineer..

She sort of has a Jared Faulk vibe...

Of course a man playing that way would never been hired by being seen on Youtube, don't you think so ?

Her playing was fine.. The Sound wasn't.
I think it's great that Jeff Beck is hiring women.. Is she on the level of Vinnie?.. No.. but few are.. However she can play ...
I think that video was horrendous sound production wise and can really skew an objective opinion of her skill level..
I don't think Beck would sacrifice music just to hire a chick... C'mon....It's F**ing Jeff Beck!!!!

I can't believe Soultone used that as an example of the "Tone" of "Soultone" cymbals.... Bleachhh...

I don't compare, I don't do that, specialy with VC, but still, the fact that it's a chick has something to do, it's what I think, but she can play, don't get me wrong, and I'm sure she'll do a good job, so no music sacrified. :-)

I 100 percent agree with you Rodge!!

Upon further research of Veronica it seems that she is firmly planted in the Pop world...She hits hard but I cant wait to see how she plays some of Beck's 70's stuff....

BTW Jeff Beck is last place i would have expected to see Veronica end up...From her vids it seems that she would be more at home with The Game or Judas Priest....
There is nothing left to say.

Yea Jeff fired Narada, kinda lame how he did it too. Our bass player (w Craig Chaquico band) runs Nardas studio in the Bay area, been his assistant for 20 plus years

I was not mad impressed. She can play, but I think there are better choices out there for Beck. I would be dissapointed if I went to see Beck and she was drumming based on this video.
I usually like the Soultone cymbals, and those DC Drums they have in their studio. Not this time though. Just my opinion and doesn't weigh much in the grand scheme. Good luck to her.
