I went on Sunday. It was great show overall.
I would say Dave was not playing quite as hard as I was expecting, but I imagine with 2 sets of high energy fusion he's had TONS of time and experience to regulate energy where needed in order to go the distance. Let the mics do the work and bring the energy when the music calls for it. Otherwise put it in cruise control at the appropriate speed.
When Mike did his obligatory solo (usually just him for a bit), Dave accompanied him..with only his hands Bonham-style.

I wonder how much this band (and others of this caliber) charge for this type of bar/intimate concerts.

Well it's not like the venue is hurting or anything (as far as I know)- I recall the cover charge as well as drinks/food to be quite pricey. I'm sure the band does okay.
