Shure E5 question...

Postby Da Chooch » Tue Nov 01, 2011 7:11 am

Howdy folks,

i am thinking of just going "off the shelf" with in-ear monitors. i remember really liking the E5's from back in the day and would like to know what is the equivalent that shure makes nowadays? i went to their website and their website is terrible in explaining or even getting to their in ear monitor page.

**side note / warning** my IEM's of 3 years has finally startin to show it's wear and tear. the cable is starting to go out but when i ordered new cables on-line (38bucks), they (fidelity custom earphones in nashville) never responded. their website looks sexy http://www.fidelitycustomearphones.net/ but i suggest you all stay away from them... turns out there have been numberous complaints. -----> http://nashville.craigslist.org/muc/2632308311.html.

thanks,

chooch

Hey Chooch,

based on the Sensaphonic website, my guess is the current model of the E5 is the SE535:

BTW, it's your fault that I'm still loving my E5's with the custom ear molds!!!

Enjoy!
