Going to NAMM for the first time in January! Pretty excited!
Anyone else here going?
For first timers like me, any tips on which day to go? Any parties I should attend? Any idea who is performing any clinics?
WOOHOOOO!!!

NAMM 2012
1) Wear really comfortable shoes!
2) Arrive early and get a great parking spot near the convention center.
3) Take a bag to just outside Hall E and pick up all of the free magazines.
4) Most of the drum gear will be in Hall D. Some drum stuff will be in Hall C and at the Mariott Hotel.
5) Sign up early for a free hearing test and consultation in the back of Hall E at the House Research Institute booth.
6) If you're into autographs, bring a coated white head and a marker. Zildjian, Vic Firth and other companies will have autograph sessions.
7) There is a mass of humanity on Saturdays. Its easier to see stuff on Thursday and Friday.
8) Bring sticks so you can check out the drums and cymbals.
9) Read the online list of NAMM performances.
10) Bring some really good earplugs or grab some free plugs at the House Research Institute booth.
11) Oh yeah, DON'T FORGET YOUR PICTURE ID!
12) Did I say "wear really comfortable shoes?"
