Buddy Rich Tribute Show - London 2012

"Dave Weckl, John Blackwell, Gavin Harrison, Gregg Bissonette and Elliott Henshaw are all set to pay tribute to Buddy on at the London Palladium on 2 April – the 25th anniversary of his passing."

I would have loved to see Gary Husband for this show. Heard him once in a big band setting (NDR w/Al Jarreau) which was classy and stellar, and never mind the old clip with Syd Lawrence.
Ahh well....

Otherwise, nice line-up. :-)

Ron Bruner seems to know why too... Hmmmm...

Just heard that Ginger Baker has been added to the line-up. Shame, it was looking pretty good before that...

He's in South Africa a couple days before this. I wouldn't be surprised if Sting hasn't already booked some private corporate show on this date.
