Your setup is amazing Juan. Exactly the kind of thing I'd like to build myself eventually. Wow!

It´s the FOSTEX VF 16 (from 2003 aprox, discontinued since many years ago)
16 playing tracks, 8 simultanious recording tracks.
For practicing/record and listen it´s a pleasure.
Some drawbacks: only 1 undo step, only 2 balanced inputs.

I´ve added a more detailed picture here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1048768374 ... 6500403618

I mean the actual desk. Where did you get it?

Ok. Second attempt.
I will speak now about the desk seen here: https://picasaweb.google.com/1048768374 ... 6740344274
It´s an old desk with wheels found in the street many years ago ( I think it was for projector or some media machine).
I fixed some broken parts, changed the levels of the shelfs, put a wood for holding the mixer and sequencer (black wood you can see) and one more for the bottom shelf.
Finally I put the speakers shelf, connected to the desk with 2 pieces of metal.
Everything home made, as other things of the room (overheads mic stand, music stand, the internal door (built from scratch)...

Over the years, some time I´ve spent in that room, and the sound didn´t come always from the drums... :)

OK, so after a bunch of gigs, I finally had some time to do some more finishing work on the "new" drum room. I still have to do some "decorating" work, but here it is.

As you walk in....

And then looking at the empty area to the main kits right, and where people set up for rehearsals (if I don't want to take a set down.) The sets in the cases are my working sets packed and ready to go. Not a real good shot, but... I'm a musician NOT a photographer!!!

I'm pretty proud of the 8 months of work that went into this: soundproofing, further flood prevention, floor planning, electrical, alarming, etc. And to answer a previous question. NO!!! Having insurance is basically NO (or minimal at best) help. That business is the crime of the century!!!

It still ain't as cool as Todd's, but I'm happy!

Thanks for looking,
MSG
