Vinnie signs deal with Paiste.

Postby maggimus » Wed Mar 21, 2012 3:21 pm

News escaped from Paiste that the V man signed an endorsement deal with Paiste last night. Should be interesting.
Thoughts?

I am hoping, if he does a press release, he'll maybe tell of a prized Paiste ride he has owned for years and used extensively.

Yeah was waiting for the news, watching some vids here and there of recent youtube clips where the finish of he cymbals and over all tone had the trademark signatures of Paiste.

Will he start playing Colorsounds?

A Customs struck me as close to Paistes actually.

If this means more cymbals added to the 602 line that's great.

Yup. I've always had an interest in them. This in addition to reintroducing the 602s really provokes some interest...

I had a deal with the for about 3-4 years but with 10 month wait for stock I returned back to my Zildjians, funny thing is the deal is still in place. I love their rides, hats and chinas.... Damn good cymbals.

Hmmm, should be some cool new stuff if they work with Vinnie's suggestions.

I'm curious as to where his sticks will go now... Vic Firth? They and Zildjian are partners, and the really nice rep that got let go from Yamaha is there.

(secretly crosses fingers for Vater) :)
