My interviews with - (New) PATITUCCI, Dave DiCenso, Gavin Harrison, Simon Phillips, Thomas Lang...

Postby Juan Expósito » Fri Apr 26, 2019 1:25 pm

Hello Folks,
Here I will post every finished and edited interview I do.
I´m editing others right now (Dennis Chambers, John Patitucci, Tom Kennedy, Gavin Harrison, Joel Rosenblatt, Dean Brown, Thomas Lang...) A lot of work but their information is top notch.
You can see in the youtube description the INDEX/timing content to each interview
**************************************
So far:
1st INTERVIEW - Simon Phillips and Bill Evans.
We didn´t have time to use the individual mics...20 minutes before their show.

2nd INTERVIEW - Lucas Ives
And the one I did with our LUCAS IVES about his live on the road and stages along to Mr. Dave Weckl and other greats.
Incredible info from our Lucas:

Thanks folks.
It´s really good to have feedback.
Ben, I´m happy with your words.
The questions are the ones I would ask to the artists in a private meeting, trying to get the most useful information, with emotion and fun on the way if it´s possible. And my english is getting better :)

THE 3th INTERVIEW IS UP -- DEAN BROWN:
Dean Brown, during his tour with Dennis Chambers and Hadrien Feraud.
What a cool person and monster player.
We talked about drummers, practicing, soloing, touring, learning from others...

I did this little teaser announcing the interview to Dean Brown.
These guitar solos are fantastic and Weckl´s arrangement at 0:50 is beautiful.

The 4th INTERVIEW is here...DENNIS CHAMBERS:
This is Dennis saying hello and below my interview, in the time where the others went to have dinner, Dennis was there talking with us.
Ultra-super-tight touring timings.
I asked him about timing, styles and other things.

Dennis saying hello:

The interview (with no time to put individual mics):

THE 5th INTERVIEW IS READY....
I hope you enjoy it.
It was a real pleasure for me doing this with one of the finnest musicians out there, the great TOM KENNEDY (bass player for Dave Weckl Band, Mike Stern, Lee Ritenour, Steps Ahead...)
We talked about timing, touring, friendship on stage, playing the same tune with different drummers (Weckl & Dennis) and more...
Full interview here:
