Can anyone point me to a video or explain to me the sticking for the classic Weckl hi-hat ride cymbal flurry that he used to play back in the day? Is it singles or doubles?

^^^Singles or Doubles! Wek is the king of doubles! The flurry stuff is always in his playing. Wek can also play fast singles all day. This Wek thread has 75 pages. It's all there

My gosh Dave looked so cool in this era! His snare sounds amazing...those toms not so much.
There is a confidence Weckl has that few possess...he just had this at an early age!
I remember asking him a question at a clinic long ago...it was like he just didnt comprehend
a struggle with practice...motivation...going through a routine cul-de-sac of discouragement.

Yeah...that sound mix was crazy good. I love when Dave plays time on the hats!
This band is SOOOO good. So much respect for Dave taking control of HIS sound...
that double floor tom fill at the end was beast mode sweet!

11:39 and 18:03-18:16. He kills this solo. How old is this guy?

Why the taped splash on the left floor? Sound thing.
