Super good audio of Al Jackson's drum kit. Also he's going for a bunch of fills most people would get in trouble for if they weren't Al Jackson!

For technical metal enthusiasts. I've been so much into this lately. It makes you dizzy listening to their last album the first couple of times sound- and form-wise but then you discover its beauty. Elliot, the drummer, is a metal monster... Speed is one thing, but being able to pull off something so intricate and complex live is just something else

I like the "jazz guy's" commentary...I HATE this style of "music" but
respect the players and musicianship. I agree...HOW do they remember
all those parts? Time is weaving in and out effortlessly which is complex
enough but to execute all those ridiculous bass drum beats to perfection...
impressive! If they really want to blow the doors off their fans...go into a
POP groove with melody...I mean go OUT to an Olivia Newton John melody!
