Some old shit with Vinnie, LA music, I like that song, the LA playing of the music/drumming.
The whole album is great with Acuna and Chester Thomson.

Yeah these guys were with F. Zappa, they just can't play a 4/4 properly !!! :-)
The intro I count : I 2 3 1 2 (eighth note)

This is exactly why HOD is so awesome. Thank you Kurtis for posting that tune… My God! It’s been awhile since I’ve heard it, but it was like hearing it for the first time.

It is and very similar to a live 1986 solo he did with
Alan Pasqua Trio playing Equinox at the Jazz Cafe.
Vinnie's Equinox solo has to be my favorite solo of Vinnie's of his entire
hx. It is so musical...starts off very pp and builds,
with space to a ferocious FFF like I've never heard
and using 5 over 4 rhythms so musically.
