Postby robhaerr » Fri Jun 10, 2011 6:29 am

I am really lovin' the good vibes from the short video clips of Gavin's clinic tour...Mike Dolbear has been shooting the video clips and posting to his web site...

Looks like they are having a great time furthering interest in drumming...nice...

...diggin' the sense of humor, and the questions.

Interesting answer to Mike's question here...goes along with the tuning thread a bit...

Shame there's nothing in the south of England, nothing happens here and I haven't got the money to put it on myself, would love to see Gavin.

I went to the even on Thursday night at the Drum Shop Gateshead. That's Andy (Drum Shop Gateshead Godfather) in the vid with the blue cap on.

It was a terrific evening. Gavin played great and was very good in the chat/Q&A session... funny guy :)

The drum shop is my local store and every time I visit their warehouse it seems even better. Its like an aladdin's cave/funky night club for drummers. I think I want to move in there!

That's the estimable and excellent Mike Ellis, a very decent drummer in his own right.

Gavin will play this saturday [june 25] in the Netherlands, the town is called Meppel. I'm really looking forward to this! :)

You should edit the title so people know there's videos in here. I thought it was just a bunch of tour dates in another part of the world. Lucky I looked. Thanks for the vids.
Also Gavin switched to Tama pedals. I'd be interested in his thoughts on the switch because Gavin always has logical reasons for doing things. I know he liked the Axis because he was able to easily generate volume with them live. How do the new Tamas compare and has he ever tried a DW 9000? Of course he has! :) but I'd like to know why he didn't like that pedal.

Very interesting answers from Gavin, again...

The video is 33 minutes long, but the content finishes at 18´.
