i don't follow a lot of 'pop' music but i've totally grown obsessed with these tunes, especially 'bound.' that chorus is just insane--i sing it all the time. billy's playing is tremendous, and shinn sounds like a gutsier don mclean to me. all the musicians are badass.

it's awesome to hear hookier songs that have depth and darkness and REAL PLAYING for once.

go, billy!

I've been searching for Chris Shinn...only found some older Unified Theory stuff. Any solo material? Release of this project?

Agreed...Bound was mesmerizing...loved the vocals...heard a lot of Train in this style personally.

Hope you are good Billy...how's the dogs?

Thanks guys! Showcase in NYC next Wednesday with entire band. There's a lot of push behind this project so I think there's a chance... we'll see. Pocket, little Max passed away about 8 months ago - he was old and had a stroke during the evening. Gracie is now living outside of New York City with cousins and is very very happy. There's not a lot of traffic in Vermont! :) This leaves me single in every way but that offers some freedom for me - for example, no problem coming to Indy for PASIC this year - no dog sitters necessary!

That is some tasty stuff.

Put me on the 'Bound' bandwagon.

Great tune.

Drums sound killer, Mr. Ward.

I prefer the version of the live clip which has a much better dynamic range. Compare the sound of the drums...you can REALLY feel the
groove in the live clip version. I guess it's the Loudness War dilemma...
My opinion >>> the studio mix/master robs quite a bit of the pure, raw emotion.
