OMG, that thing is HUGE...
And greasy... That's some Buddha of the Groove stuff there. Like.
But the snare sound on the recording is just not happening for me. Do something about that. The groove is meaty, beaty, big, and bouncy though.

He wants what looks to me like a 14" tom at the level of the snare drum. So the 26" bass drum gets kicked to one side. And the snare ring is not happening for me in this context. Half a Moongel would help so much. Half.
All that said, the performance is really freakin' greasy, and I like it.

Love Abe's playing. I think there was moongel on there as it is! Did have a funky ring to it.

I like the snare sound - works perfectly with the rest of the kit. It kets seriously de-tuned towards the end though!
