The Firchie snare is being reintroduced with some new features. Weird instrument. (in a good way)

what I like about this post is that it's lasted 10 minutes without someone calling it stupid. :|

I told my student about them and one day he shows up with one! It's hard to get a snare stand that goes low enough but it was a very cool drum.

I wouldn´t call this "stupid".

They should have chosen another voice, but it´s a cool thing.
The second video, changing tunnings is very interesting.

It would need a special snare stand, lower than normal ones.
