Steve discusses some performance footage below:
I grew up with all kinds of music styles around the house. It was important to learn the different styles but play in projects I am passionate about. Here is a tune “Dr. James” from a trio I play with filmed at the world famous Baked Potato in Los Angeles.
Here’s a clip from a drum lesson I gave. In it we discuss soloing and the “Why behind the What”. .
Dorian Cheah is an amazing violinist in Los Angeles I’ve had the privelege to play with for some time now. He sister is just as talented as this clip shows during a show at The Sunset Room in LA.
Here is a tune from a show with pop singer Mig Ayesa.
Some footage from the recording of Altered’s CD “Graphic”.
Here is some drum improvisation recorded in early 2008.
AUDIO
This mp3 is taken from a demo CD my friend Tony doRosario recorded. He plays jazz guitar and the song is an original he wrote called “Sixth Street”. Click HERE to check it out. It’s a straight-ahead jazz tune with Donald Vega on piano, and Bill Marcus on bass.
Here are a couple rock tunes I recorded with a band called Fuse a while ago. Greg Ladanyi produced and recorded the demo which was an experience since he recorded TOTO IV. Here is a ballad, and here isn’t a ballad.
