I saw a facebook status update today from drummer Gerry Brown saying "Welcome back Vinnie to Yamaha!"

I never liked his sound on the Ludwigs or the Paistes - his sound, for me, was Gretsch and Zildjian. Yamaha is a close 2nd.

I don't see how he could go back to Gretsch, that would be weird PR, but I would understand why. I think Sakae is still too small for him. I really don't know what it'll be ...
