Re: Carlock moves to Grestch

I'm a big Carlock fan. I really dig his style. Can't wait to hear the new album. I did a cover for their new single "Orphan". Such a cool song!!

Re: Cindy on Dennis's drums....

I love Jack when he is keeping time, swinging, but when it comes to solo...hmmmmmm it sounds like shit. Terrible, incomplete, non-sense, sloppy phrases with bad ideas.

You just lost any credibility right there. That is probably the craziest thing I have ever seen posted on this forum. Wow. :shock ...

Wow...that was so so annoying!! Sorry!!

Zach's playing on early and mid 90's was just amazing...stellar! Him and cliff almond were the best weckl clones back then but these last couple of years he just lost me with all this ...

Re: Cindy on Dennis's drums....

Not sure why you guys are taking so easy on her...Is it just because she is a woman???
Well in my opinion her entire performance was just awful...horrible. And to blame the drums, the set up, the tunning, the mixing, I am sorry but it is simply ridiculous. Dumb excuse!!!

Her solo sounded like a 10 ...

Re: Big Weckl announcement?

I have the feeling that he is putting together a new band, new songs, new recording, and Jay oliver is back as his co-producer. It would be really cool if they go out on tour and play some of old songs from "heads up" and "hard-wired" recordings. Those two records are simply amazing!!! :D

Re: Chris Coleman

Very impressive!!! Amazing speed...awesome technique...very clean...so precise...what else we can say about that "monster"? But honestly for me...it was just waaaaay too much musically speaking. Too many notes...too many changes through out the solo. It was like a "drum chop madness" from beginning ...

Re: Steve Smith

Good stuff...really nice ideas but seriously, I would rather listen to the real thing (Indian music tabla playing) than listen to a fusion jazz band trying to emulate the original concept. For some reason It didn't really click for me. It seemed like the only guy digging was Steve and the rest was ...
