Chris Coleman in top form! Must have taken a fair bit of rehearsing to nail this and it's a great piece.

Re: 2026 Chatty!!!!!
I'm buying a couple of tickets tomorrow for a Jost Nickel clinic in June at a drum store. He's apparently on a UK clinic tour. Absolutely love his playing.

Re: Steve Smith
I've never really been a fan but I do like his playing here, apart from his slightly horrible sounding snare drum. There's incredible drummers on these VF Jam live sessions that were recorded a few years ago but Steve really holds his own here and the band playing for him is superb.

Re: Assorted videos / YouTube thread
I normally don't bother with child prodigy drum videos as we've seen a lot of them over the years, but I think this one is pretty damn impressive.

Re: VINNIE - The thread about Colaiuta
There was a fusion band in the 80s and 90s called 'Wishful Thinking' that made four records. David Garibaldi was the primary drummer but on this last album of theirs called 'That Was Then', Vinnie is on it with another guest drummer called Michael Barsimanto. According to Discog, Vinnie is playing ...

Re: VINNIE - The thread about Colaiuta
Apparently it's from 2018 demoing e-drums for Roland. Sounds like shit though. Someone in the comments section made a great analogy. "Like a Michelin chef using a microwave".Darren Altman wrote:This is NUTS!! Brand new Vinnie!!![]()

Re: 2025 Chatty!!!
I met Mark Brzezicki last weekend. He happened to be at a gig I was playing, just a pub gig, and he watched the first set. I must say he was really complimentary which made my night. :) In the break we chatted drums of course. Such a lovely guy. He's sold all his gear, (including 75 snare drums ...

Re: DAVE WECKL - The thread about Dave
Yeah, just watched the whole thing and it's got to be the most interesting interview I've seen of Dave. So many tentacles in the Weckl brand. He's very articulate and a really intelligent man. The attention to detail in everything he does is amazing.
