Shaker Hand

Postby sejuba » Fri Nov 23, 2012 10:09 pm

I'm really digging the first song this guy plays.... awesome groove, phrasing and technique. his right hand is just ridiculous as well. wish he hadn't played that second song though...
His name is Douglas Las Casas and they gave him the nickname of "Shaker Hand" during a jam session he played at The Baked Potatoe when he used that right hand technique.

Enjoy !

Literally every player from Brazil I've met has that right hand 16th note thing going, and each cat does it different. I need to get that bad.

That's the shit right there! And those cymbals sound great, too. Wonder if Bosphorus is interested in giving me free cymbals.
Moderation's all well and good, just don't overdo it.
