Minor roof leak got mold in the drum room walls.
Roof's fixed - walls demo'd and rebuilt. This week - paint and carpet.
So ....drum room 2.0 I guess?
Just when I was getting re-inspired to play some more.
I suppose this has made me appreciate it all the more.

That's a drag. Lots of work, but you will appreciate your space even more. In Brooklyn, I have to play on multiple pads at home adding more padding with cloth on top of the surface so my neighbor doesn't get bugged, especially at night. Luckily i get to play real drums at least 3x a week in rehearsals and gigs so i didn't have to rent a space, which helps saves bread and the commute time. NY is about compromising.
