RIP to the inventor of Washington DC's Gogo music and scene leader since the 1970s, Chuck Brown.
Bustin' Loose was a #1 hit record on the R&B charts in 79. It was sampled on Nelly's "It's Getting Hot In Here."
Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers are also responsible for one of the most famous and heavily sampled drum breaks of all time @3:37 :
