New? Bromberg Plays Hendrix was put out back in 2010. At least I believe it must be nearly two years old now, because I don't think I've listened to it at all in a year or so. The playing is spectacular and inspired but for some reason I can never quite fully get into any Hendrix tribute. Especially an instrumental tribute that loses an entire facet of the songs.
"Compared To That" is Bromberg's new 2012 release - Colaiuta is on that one, too. And the entire disc is really good as well. I especially enjoy the take on Rick James' Give It To Me.

But I will buy "Compared to that"
