This cat might have the best transition from big band drumming into a pop
session. His licks and bass drum work is incredible! I thought of Ian Paice
with the style of fills that were stuff I would never think of on Machine Head.
Spiral Starecase came and went, maybe that is why he is so unknown, but
this is some killer stuff. That boxy pop snare is one of my favorite sounds.

That first tune, More Today Than Yesterday, is a well-worn tune for cheezy party bands! Have heard it many times. It is hip daddy, dig it man! Fun song!
