Such a bizarre interview.
Vinnie is orphaned by the fact that the amount of people that truly understand what he has achieved on the drums is very low - and amongst those who can interview him competently is even less.

Well, it seems that he prefers talking with people outside music ?
I mean she even doesn't know who Keith Jarret is...
Not sure she really knows who Vince is.

Vinnie is a really humble cat, not sure he's looking for fame equal to what he accomplished as musician.
I come from Tain, Vinnie, Omar, Jeff, Fish, Stewart, and many more...

I think Vinnie likes being in this format with someone who doesn't care about his technical ability on the drums. She is asking him more questions on the meaning and importance of music and society. Vinnie gets to express himself in a different way than if he was interviewed by a drummer or a Master of Music. He's listening, reacting, teaching and sometimes
asking her a few questions in return. He was so happy to introduce her to Keith Jarrett and the fact that she said she didn't know what instrument Jarrett played meant that she was there to learn as well. I like what Vincent said about not worrying about making a mistake while playing. Embrace the fear and don't think about it.
Vinnie also said that you have to love what you do to let it manifest to express yourself to any profundity. If you love it, you will seek out more elements in it.
