Is it the Gladstone system( http://www.mikedolbear.com/story.asp?St ... txtSearch=) , that allows tuning of both heads from turning one key on the top? It is still used to perfection on some of the best made snares in the world...Innovation Drum Company drums out of Michigan. Chris Dave is the main guy that comes to mind that plays them. The quality is ridiculously good, I just wish they were more known in the industry. He makes full kits also, and I sat down and talked with the owner Steve Badalament at NAMM about 6 yrs ago.Great guy, who explained every last detail of how he makes his drums, and why he does certain things a particular way. I've sat down and played a lot of great drums, but nothing comes close in my opinion to his kits(I sound like I work for him, but honestly just a huge fan)... I would own one, but a snare alone costs as much or more than I got my 7 piece Noble and Cooley for. One day...
