Put some triggers on Vinnie's bass drum and then tell me. I've seen him blowing 16th note triplets like a demon but of course with his bass drum sound it sounds a bit sloppy.

Virgil and Lang got the doubles down, and there's a few metal guys with just unreal singles. The closest I can think of would be Grant Collins 'Wilcoxon's 144th' which has a few flam taps in it.
Simon Phillips had that kind of shit on lockdown.

Alright, we started off with stories about Vinnie, which were cool. We have devolved into "who has INCREDIBLE feet." Render unto me a break. This is irrelevant. Trust me on this one. Just trust me. Go ahead; I'm old and mean. Don't take sh!t kindly....

By the way, my copy of the Doug Lunn Project arrived today. Vinnie on all tracks. Better still, the tunes are engaging and worthwhile as music. Adding great players to the mix is a bonus. So, I'm endorsing the Doug Lunn ablum without reservation. Not a "chopsfest" but the highest level playing in context.

Yet another, initially fun and inspiring thread has turned to shit.
