There's no shame in saying you find her cute.
As for 'deserves', well...
The less said about people like Mike Johnston the better in my opinion, over rated self publicist, just because MD magazine buys into people like that to shift copies doesn't make it right....and now for my next lesson.. Single strokes over a samba foot pattern...10000000 views

Haha, nicely said. OT, this one is more to my taste.

Hard to escape the girl factor these days and that a guy wouldn't get the atttention is probably mostly true. Not really her fault, though.
Still., the fact is she does some cool stuff.

What are we? 5 years old?
Saying you like her playing ´cause she´s a girl is like saying you don´t because you´re a misogynist...
There´s plenty of guys (Mike Johnston, Cobus, Coopersomething) receiving much more attention and who can´t play at her level. That was my point. Peace.

Massively missed the point, but never mind. Peace accepted

Anika is a good drummer.
I think most people with a brain understand the dynamics of society and don't blame or hold people who get attention responsible or blame them in any way. If music is all you wan to do then it's a business, it has always been and you do what you can, have to or feel you as person can do. I don't even think that's a point to mention even regarding this performer. Quite uninteresting doesn't fit in this context.
And she's cute.
So yeah. Guy thinks girl is cute. My god. Call the police. He must be a chauvinist psycho. Oh dear.
Now the Cobus and Johnston thing has nothing to do with this and those guys do creep me out, because as an educator they represent everything that makes me totally cringe. It's not really about skill either, it's about their attitude.

Hot...on every level. Her ergonomic motion is more attractive than those pants!
She don't hit like a girl.

She brings it, and is intense about playing. Massive respect.
Her hands are nice to watch, aesthetically pleasing.
