I'm really curious since I dig both Vinnie and the character of Gretsch drums. Since the link is off his homepage, there must be something going on, though. If he is gonna play something else, I sort of hope it's something that's not mainstream at all.

I would love for Gibson to get off their asses and bring back Slingerland with Vinnie leading the way! I think Gretsch ended up buying all of the old Slingerland factory machines though.

^Would love to see Gibson handle Slingerland in a manner befitting its storied history. Been disappointing that they have done such an awful job with that brand. Getting Vinnie would be a good start at a renewed effort to rebuild the brand.
