I've come close to bailing on this joint because of it myself. It makes for a lot of hostility.

I think Paiste is going to release a 22" 602 ride at NAMM in January.

Hi guys,
last week, I've been sent a set of the new 602 to test.
I had a Medium 20" ride, a 14" HH Sound Edge and a 16" Thin Crash.
They sounded great and the 14" HH Sound Edge was one of my favorites.
Really fast and defined sound. Articulate on several frequencies and really versatile.
16" Crash fast and bright.
Medium 20" Ride was light and defined with the right sustain.
I also had several cymbals of the Twenty Masters Collection to try too.
A Deep Ride 24", a Medium Ride 21", a Dark Dry Ride 20" and the Dark Ride 20".
This last one was my favorite above all.
Really soft and washy and very dark sounding.
I did use it with my John Mayer Trio cover band and it was perfect.
I've been not impressed at all by the Deep Ride 24" signed by JR.
The sound was too "regular" without anything special.
Obviously, just my opinion.
