Been following Xavier for a while - this recent footage of him with this band is interesting. I could do without the singer but the rhythm section is super tight and he's doing some pretty interesting (and difficult) things on the toms with his right hand while his left keeps hammering away on the hat in those high energy grooves. His older videos are bananas - just him at home playing at a AAA level. I like him.

Saw Brandi Carlile in concert on Monday.
Even without a drummer, easily going into my top ten all time concerts. She’ just amazing.

Just met Terry B at the Drum Fanstasy Camp clinic here in LA- it was great to meet him! Super cool guy.
Got a chance to catch up with Dave, Perter and Gavin. Met Dennis finally. Louis Palmer and I went. Great time.
