Man! Those drums DO sound good! Very tonal. I could see how those would be cool for a club gigs and stuff. Especially un-miked.
Is it me? Or is Steve Jordans left hand a re-incarnation of Steve Gadds? Even his ultra fat groove abilities?

ok, just to inquire - what would be the closest hotel to the hang? I feel like I know you guys, but it's still weird if I asked to crash at someone's couch. I'd be flying in from IL. Not saying I'm doing it yet, just researching some logistics.

Rock on. I've stayed at that Doubletree before and it's plenty nice. I'll probably stay there this time around, too. Suspect I'll be in Friday evening since I got the day off, in case anyone would like to join me for dinner (which may or may not include a stop at Roscoe's).

I'm down for dinner, but those hotels are outside of LA and closer to Scott's. You renting a car Matt?

How about dinner near the ocean? I don't know if can make it to Monrovia. That's almost a whole time zone away.

I'll be driving my car in. Big American car. Seats 5 fat people comfortably. Plus some gear. However, it's rather dirty. I can drive anywhere in Greater LA given 45 minutes fudge time when I get off on the wrong exit.

Since you're coming in on a Friday, at rush hour, it's probably a horrible idea to suggest you go any further than Pasadena.

I am coming from N. Hollywood / SFV area. Anyone interested in carpooling? I got a Big Murican auto as well or would be happy to donate some gas $$ to another driver.

Just got the word I have to send the Club Customs back to Japan this week, and the two kits from the booth are shipping out for reviews. Maybe I can find something cool up in the archive stash that would be fun for show and tell.
