Yes, they're great musicians...but, I fall on the side of those who don't like this cover version. The spirit of the song is lost. The Beiber cover they did was great - they took that song up a notch and kept the spirit of the tune what it is. The Adele cover is all over the map melodically and rhythmically - waaay too much showing off - they should've left this song alone.

The more I see/hear, the more I don't like them.

I still think their Rude Boy cover (Rihanna) is their best effort yet but I generally like all
I've seen and heard with them so far.

I'm a fan. The Adele cover may have been a bit over the top but I enjoy their style very much. I'd like to hear them do originals, too.

I like it. In the end, they're pushing and raising the bar for pop.

I'm pretty sure I would enjoy watching them live in a pub while having a cold beer and being around my musician buddies but
I wouldn't get their album if they'd be playing covers. It wears out pretty fast.

I also find it natural for people to comment on how they think they used pitch correction or fake sounding drums... its ok...
its unquestionable though they are very talented musicians. Personally, I think a bit of technology goes a long way
and for what they do, it fits their sound quite nicely.

I think wanking is part of what they enjoy doing. Yes, they abuse it, but it adds to the originality of their idea...

On a curious note...how does the copyright laws work when your identity is based on covers?

Then it would have been a little more palpable.
Even so, props to Dirty Loops.

Dirty Loops' covers are a guilty pleasure, like any jam session. It's meant to be over the top. Perhaps their only "crime" is the amount of production they put into this. I think you enjoy it on the level and within the context they provide -- three great musicians in a tiny practice room playing ridiculously over-arranged jazz versions of simple club covers -- or maybe just ignore it. I can't see being put off by it. It's not like they're covering Rachmaninoff.

But what do I know?
